Herøya Industrial Park

At Herøya Industrial Park in Porsgrunn, Brekke & Strand has carried out noise measurements, surveys, impact assessments and assessments of noise measures since the mid-1990s.

Yara Porsgrunn is the largest company in the industrial park and has several factory facilities: an ammonia factory, four nitric acid factories, two complete fertilizer factories (NPK) and a lime nitrate factory. Yara also has several major quay facilities in the area for shipping raw materials and finished products.

Our other customers at the industrial park include Eramet Norway Porsgrunn, Inovyn, RHI, NEL, the Port of Grenland and REC. With many companies in the same area, it is a great advantage that Brekke & Strand Akustikk AS can gather and share their experiences across the various companies.
