Sundt quarter is built on the sites of old brothers Sundt Machine Tool Factory, colloquially referred to simply as brothers Sundt. The project fills a whole city block bounded by Vahls street Lakkegata and Heimdalsgata east of central Oslo.
The project has a gross area of 33,100 square meters, distributed on five floors and a basement floor. The building contains office areas with canteen and auditorium, public meeting room- and welcome center, commercial premises for outreach activities on the 1st floor and multipurpose hall for the municipality of Oslo. Contractor is Skanska Norway, while Dyrvik Architects has designed the building.
The project also includes two listed buildings which was fully renovated, but under the direction of another contractor.
